Everyone wants to leave high school.
Most feel that college polishes them and gives them a sense of refinement.
In graduate school, you either a) leave as a shell of your former self (but a true expert in a given field), or b) you die. :P
That is what cell bio studying degraded into tonight. ;P
I'm mostly sad because I missed naginata practice. Damn stupid lipid synthesis. If I had figured it out sooner, I could have hit things with a bit stick.
Basically, I am full of creative energy, but I need to start focusing on my seminars more, or on schoolwork in general.
I also have a request, since so many of you on my lovely Flist have been abroad. Any spare change or currency you'd be willing to donate to me from abroad? I am trying to start a world currency collection, and so far I have Kenya, Korea (old), India, England, Mexico, and Canada. Those of you who I've asked already, please disregard this.
To do list:
1) Cell Bio exam tomorrow. Seriously. Read some more of the Alberts textbook before you take it.
2) Darwin reading. We're starting Origin, you'd best be prepared.
3) Figure out WHAT THE HELL I am doing for Shakespeare.
4) record stuff in dream journal
5) Figure out what the hell is going on with the May naginata demo. >.<
6) Give Katie naginata money and have her cosign the financial form
7) Finish your 'guide to college life' and polish it. It was pretty entertaining...
8) Draw the following because it would make you happy and also challenge your artistic skills just when you need it most (even if it is fanart):
-Yuri and Alice pick with her doing tea ceremony or in a kimono or something
-Koudelka characters in Shakespeare outfits. You know you want to draw Koudelka as
Viola, Edward as Hamlet, and James as one of the Friars. This needs to happen.
