Wherein much is discussed:
Jan. 4th, 2007 11:33 pmDriving around in CO is still no fun, but I was inordinately glad to get out today. The mission? To buy some holiday gifts for people who were nice enough to give me gifts. :D
Naturally, Gamestop was the first place I went. Amid tears because I couldn't afford a new console or the new DDR game or Twilight Princess, I found a great gift for Anna Kate. Next I went to an art/writing supply store to find gifts for Kels and Diana. Since I was in the area, I also finally stopped by Kataluna Chai and was reminded that a tea party HAS to happen in Diana's room over J-term. Please?
Yesterday was spent at my mom's office because she is horribly short on staff. I did a little filing, watched tons of Arrested Development, and worked on internship stuff. I learned two very interesting things. 1) The endocrinologist that I saw for most of my young life is actually a Mount Holyoke alum who is very willing to help a fellow MoHo get a job in the illustrious Barbara Davis Center out here in CO (^_^), and 2) people that work in Irish universities are incredibly nice and helpful directing clueless American students toward internships. They're also amazingly fast at responding to e-mails. I hope I'll be going to University College Dublin this summer.
Grades were fine. Orgo: B+
Stats: A
Developmental Bio: A-
Arthur and the Grail: A-
I'm a little sad about the A- in Arthur and the Grail, but...I just did not do as much research as I did for Tolkien class. I think Collette expects a lot of me. XD
Anyway, time to sign off and play Seiken Densetsu 3. I WILL BEAT IT BEFORE I COME BACK TO CAMPUS! Raar.
