Yay summer.
May. 29th, 2006 03:54 pmI know I have been spending a lot of time complaining and/or worrying about not doing a lot this summer, but I've realized recently that stuff happens even when you don't plan it. :P Thankfully, life does not stop because you're relaxing at home. I'm sure some of you will be relieved to hear that.
I got to witness George getting kicked out of Aeropostale yesterday, because he was doing research for his music essay. They were really impatient and accused him of soliciting. It really did not seem like he was causing much harm. He was just going around to clothing stores with target clients, and seeing if music preferences were easily predicted through taste in clothing. I guess I can understand people getting irritated at his questions, but he was being really polite about it, and most people really did not seem to mind. I mean, he even asked two employees at Aeropostale about the type of music they listen to, and they didn't seem to mind at all. It was a manager who came and asked him to leave. >.< Talk about social norms...
I am also officially addicted to two things: Evergrace, a really silly PS2 RPG that allows you to customize your character's look a lot, and the Red Dwarf novels. I'm almost done with the second novel, and my plan after that is to start a certain fantasy novel that a certain eager person is expecting me to read. You know who you are. ;P
I have been spending some time trying to line up research at MHC for sometime next year. Unfortunately, it hasn't been going as well as I'd like. Seems like there are many many biology students need positions, and some of the most popular profs are either retiring or going on leave next year. >.< Still, the professor I contacted said to just keep trying, and I'll find something I'll be happy with. I guess I can try contacting my genetics profs next...but the thought that I'm too late is seriously dissuading me. Still, it doesn't hurt to try! :)

Date: 2006-05-30 09:44 pm (UTC);-) Some certain people just wish there were 32 hours in a day: 24 to do normal stuff, 4 extra to nap in, and 4 extra to read in.

Polip: I can't talk about my opinion on aeropastel because of legal reasons.
Caliel: Is it because they are sponsoring your sequel?
Polip: That has nothing to do with it...it is because of Cheese...GTG (He runs away)
Mossy: I am starting to hate him
Caliel: Well anyways Hil I came to wish you a happy summer
Mossy: I didn't I just found it entertaining George got kicked out of a store
Caliel: Don't make me kill you!!
Norwegian Pop: Life is real and we got time to kill
Caliel: Is that suppose to mean I should not kill him but time? You are still not making sense. (But I love you) *gives him a kiss*
Norwegian Pop: We are a hitch hiking couple to the west through the west country to the west
