Wow. Just, wow. A stupid palindrome is all I can do to express the amount of intense feeling that's gone on in the past few days. It's almost enough to make me forget about the week from hell before the week before AB. :P
(Yes, this involves papers/exams and lack of sleep, injury and rejection from every internship I applied to other than my backup in CO.)
Anime Boston was amazing. Opera Celes for the win. The artists loved me and I love them. It's an awesome relationship. Also: Ann and I rock at being silly and somewhat in character most of the time. :P
Vera and Gina, thanks for encouraging me to actually go and including me. ^_^
You two were awesome Gogos, and you got a shoutout in Shiva's LJ. :P
Christine and Laura, you were awesomely Amano and very fun to be around. :D
And SPECIAL SPECIAL thanks for the costume stuff(Ann, Christine, and especially Laura).
Highlights include seeing a Princess Serenety and her man (...er...woman, since a girl was cosplaying him) in the elevator, and watching the drunk guy who was going to investigate Serenety's hoopskirt get SMACKED DOWN by the tuxedo mask girl. It was beautiful.
Drunk guy: "puffy skirt..." *reach*
Mask: *smacks his hand with sword* "Off."
And then they left. Hehehehehe. Serves that jerk right.
Additional: BASCH LIVES!
Cons, though they're quite fun, always stir something in me that's very sad and melancholy. Sort of a "Wow...look at everyone who wishes life were SO MUCH DIFFERENT" kind of feeling. It's difficult to put into words, and it's even more difficult to let it go and get back to normal life. Bah.
Okay, other stuff...hmm...Brownlow likes me a lot more than I thought. I talked to him about my paper, and he actually liked it more than I thought. He also says that I should interrupt the people that talk incessantly in class because "it's clear I know a lot" and
mine is a voice he'd like to hear more.
Had an interesting conversation with Meredith yesterday, concerning a certain other person and a certain realization I've come to... (haha, cryptic. :P)
And I spent the past hour and a half drawing instead of working. YEES! I missed it.
I am also going to Much Ado rehersal tonight, even if it kills me.
Sixth and lastly, (:P) a robin decided to make a nest and lay eggs on our fire escape. It's kind of adorable, but it means none of us can use it. There are equally adorable signs up now telling us not to use it so the mom can actually incubate the eggs. XD
Life is good, and it's finally spring!
