Jun. 6th, 2006 11:43 amSo, I went through orientation at the hospital yesterday...
The exciting duties I will have to perform include:
-reading the HIPAA manual so that I know not to infringe on patient rights
-getting a TB screening (yaaay needles >.<)
-In the event of a baby abduction at Lutheran Hospital, I'd have to guard an exit and watch for suspicious people.
Sounds fun, no? :P
In other news, my crazy adventure for George is almost complete. I am planning on getting it done today, hopefully before I go spend time with Becky. It's her birthday today, and I am not exactly sure what I am going to do about it. Cake, possibly? I think we'll be going to Noodles for some delicious pasta, but I need to do something more birthday related for her. The fun part is that she doesn't even know that I remembered, so it'll be a surprise. :D
I also got to go to the game store in Boulder yesterday, and I got to see George's new place in Greeley. The chibi FFV characters I made for him to decorate his walls with look good. ;D Also, I am very jealous of his awesome stereo system that he can hook up to the TV. Great sound quality. *sighs* It made playing Clock Tower 3 with him really freaky.
Speaking of freaky, I am watching some old episodes of the X-files right now, and I never realized just how frightening they can be! My skin is crawling. Mulder and Scully are as awesome as ever, though...and David Duchovny is an alum of MHC's brother school (AKA Dartmouth). Yeah! ^_^
