5. What do you think of the social sciences? People usually have very set positions on those sorts of disciplines.

I think that a lot of people who dedicate themselves to those sciences risk thinking that they're exempt from the very stereotypes they work to debunk, document, or explain, thus creating a situation in which those who, after all is said and done, really show the most attachment to stereotypes are those who supposedly are best at recognizing them, reinforcing them more than weakening them... I think that they're fascinating, to put it a bit more eloquently. Shall we put this conversation on hold for J-term?
