I am covered in facepaint and temporary tatoos and it is wonderful. Today was Book Award Day at the library where I work, and I ended up helping the kids with various crafts for 6 1/2 hours. Mostly, I painted lots of little faces. It was very interesting watching them all. I remember when I was that young and still capable of getting that excited about events at the local library. :)

I have a moon and three stars on my left cheek, an iguana hiding in a book that looks like a tent on my right, a red, yellow, and black butterfly on my left hand, and a parrot on my left calf. I took a picture of my face, because I'm amusing.

Okay, enough with the infantile silliness. Laura is absolutely coming now, so those of you who live in CO (or have been here), any suggestions of things to do/see? Pretend you only have four days to show your good friend the best of where you live.

Also: my final two icons have been made. The one used for this entry is a pick of Koudelka. I was unsure about using another videogame icon, but this pic was so expressive that I couldn't resist.
